For people with a personal agent
Check this first.
A second look before your agent buys, sends, books, or shares something for you.
- What's supported
- What's still unknown
- →One next step
Coming soon to Muse. No scores. No green lights. You make the call.
Illustrative. Names and details are made up. Agency Check is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta.
How Agency Check works: when a personal agent such as Muse is about to buy, send, book, or share something, the person says “Check this first.” Agency Check reviews only what is shared with it and returns one Decision Card with one of three answers (Ready to review, Clarify one thing, or Pause and verify), what is supported, what is still unknown, and one next step. The person always makes the final call. Example moments: The 2 AM sleep advice: A calmer plan for tonight.; The 11:40 PM reply: Sent to 1, not 14.; The neighborhood rumor: Corrected before 60 people saw it.; “Hi Mom, new number”: $840 stayed put.; “Just tell me the code”: Code kept. Couch sold Saturday.; The “rate apps” job: No ID sent. No fee paid.; The soccer signup: Registered. 5 fewer details shared.; The holiday calendar: Shared the days. Kept the reasons.; “Done, I moved it”: Requested isn’t booked. Now he knows..
Agents make it easy to say yes.
Your agent can find the headphones, draft the reply, fill in the form, and book the table in seconds. Most of the time that's great. Sometimes there's a detail worth one more look: a return policy, who's on the thread, a field the form didn't need, a "done" that isn't done yet.
Agency Check finds that detail and hands it back to you.
How Agency Check works
Share it
Paste a quote, a draft, or what your agent suggested. In Muse, just say "Check this first."
Get a second look
It sorts what's supported from what's still unknown, and puts it on one Decision Card.
Take the next step
One practical action. Copy it back to your agent, or make the call yourself.
Three honest answers
No scores. No green lights.
Ready to review
The card is complete. Read the tradeoff and take the next step.
Clarify one thing
One missing detail would change the answer. Just one question.
Pause and verify
Something important can't be confirmed yet. Verify before acting.
Agency Check never tells you something is "safe." It tells you what it could and couldn't confirm.
Orange marks what's worth a second look.
The asterisk
Costs the price leaves out
The extra switch
Access the task may not need
The timer
Pressure to act right now
The gap
A claim with no proof yet
Orange never means safe or unsafe. It means look here.

FAQ
Is Agency Check made by Meta?
+
No. It's made by Cyber Strategy Institute, an independent research organization. It works with Muse as a connector, coming soon to Muse's connector directory.
Do I need Muse?
+
No. In Muse, just say "Check this first." With any other agent, paste what it said.
Will it tell me if something is a scam?
+
It shows you the pressure cues and what can't be confirmed yet, and suggests a way to check. That's usually enough to see the pattern yourself, and the decision stays yours.
Why no scores?
+
A score hides the reasons. The card shows you the reasons, so you can decide with them.
Does it stop my agent?
+
No. You decide. Agency Check gives you a clearer picture and one next step.
What happens to what I share?
+
It's used only to make your card. We don't sell it or use it for ads. Our full privacy policy is coming soon.
Is this financial or legal advice?
+
No. It helps you ask better questions before you commit. For legal or financial decisions, talk to a professional.
